Thrive LED

Some things you should know …..

India spends some 4.7 billion U.S. dollars on kerosene subsidies every year so that people without mains electricity can light their homes. Kerosene lamps don’t help much in providing the light people need to work, read or study. What’s more, 40% of this same kerosene is resold to adulterate diesel fuel through the black market. The kerosene lamps are dirty and pollute the climate.

Artificial lighting, essential today, will not be provided through the slow process of electrifying our villages projected in the government’s 5 Year Plans.

Today there is a solution to the problem through LED HOME LIGHTS. If LED HOME LIGHTS were supplied to each of the 100 million needy households we could solve the problem immediately. The cost would be about 1 billion U.S. dollars; a saving of almost 3.7 million U.S. dollars per year.

The LED HOME LIGHTS can/will also help people to lengthen the productive day for many of their daily household tasks or lucrative jobs by extending the hours of light available to them. These hours “earned” have been estimated to be worth nearly 25 million US dollar a day and 100 billion U.S. dollars a year. Even better, the benefits will accrue to the most needy!

This 100 billion U.S. dollars “earned” is equal to the entire amount spent over the past sixty years by donors, international institutions and governments through a host of schemes, projects and plans. One simple light, one single light, with a working life of three years and costing $10 can achieve all this! We can show results and back up our claim.
